I’ve been sitting back this election season watching Facebook and Twitter and wondering just what in the hell is going on with the people in this great nation? So here are my thoughts on the presidential election.
I’ve seen lifelong friends no long speaking, threats of violence, total disrespect for our fellow Americans and I’m just sickened.
We’ve been presented with two candidates, who, in my opinion, are not a ‘best option’ on either side, yet we have to choose.
We have a candidate who has been accused of being a misogynist, racist, and a sexual predator. We have another who is being ‘proven’ to be a liar, cheat, and all around terrible person, personally and professionally.
There are your choices….Let’s take a closer look.
Hillary Clinton
- Believes our Constitution is outdated and needs to be changed.
- Wants to bring in tens of thousands of refugees who believe gay people should be executed.
- Wants to continue with abortion at all levels, as she supports Margaret Sanger who thinks Planned Parenthood should abort as many black babies as possible to exterminate the black race.
- Continuously has berated the victims of her husband’s sexual abuse by calling them trash, sluts, and an array of demeaning names.
- Supports Wall Street and their special interest, all the while saying she supports the middle class and poor in our country and becoming a multi-millionaire in the process.
- Supports the TPP while factory workers have lost their jobs due to the jobs going overseas.
- Wants to kill our second amendment and disarm all Americans, leaving us defenseless from tyranny.
There’s more, but let’s look at Trump.
- Will fight for our 2nd Amendment rights.
- Will appoint to the Supreme Court someone who respects our Constitution and what it stands for.
- Says deintegrating things about women.
- Has no political experience.
- Some people believe he is racist due to comments taken out of context.
- He speaks before he thinks.
- He is pro-life.
- He is Christian.
Now, in all that I’ve written (and forgive me if I’ve left something out), this is what we have to choose from.
What will you do on Tuesday?
And for anyone who’s voting on Tuesday. A word of caution. Please be extra vigilant when going to vote. We have been warned that ISIS has issued a directive to disrupt our elections and kill. It’s a damn shame I’m not allowed to bring my gun in when I vote.
